In line with its commitment to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability, the Rural Electrification Authority (REA), through its Integrity and Ethics Unit, is currently conducting a series of sensitization workshops for staff. These workshops, organized in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), aim to enhance integrity in everyday business operations and ensure adherence to ethical standards across all levels of the organization. The Authority has benefited from valuable insights into best practices for preventing corruption and ensuring ethical decision-making in implementing its mandate.

The workshops cover a wide range of topics, focusing on building an environment where transparency, responsibility, and integrity are the pillars of REA’s business operations. The workshops have been designed to be interactive, giving participants the opportunity to share challenges they face in their roles and explore solutions with the guidance of ACC experts. By addressing real-life scenarios and case studies, employees are equipped with practical tools to recognize and combat unethical behavior within the workplace.

By embedding these values into the heart of our operations, REA is not only complying with anti-corruption policies but also setting a strong foundation for sustainable growth and success in its mission to electrify rural Zambia.
